For some of us, it is the same as we are always doing every year. But for me, every CLP is a new experience, a new chapter, and a new beginning. It is a great and another blessing to our community. Not just a program and a service but indeed, it was and always be a start for our souls to renew our faith and it is an amazing beginning to bring our brothers and sisters to let God work to their lives. “There’s no hindrance in serving the Lord if we focus on Him” We look up at every leader as a role model who guides each individual in a community.  In  SFC, it is our privilege as members to be in a household where we can share intimately with our dear brothers and sisters our triumphs, innermost concerns, or even our simple thoughts; as well as worshipping and glorifying God - the spirit of camaraderie lies in each household. Simply put, the household is a system of loving and caring. Each household has a designated leader - a brother or a sister that takes charge of the household. Household Heads must lead by example, which is best displayed in their compassion towards their members. I personally honor our Household Heads for their attitude of service towards their members. As preparation for the SFC Chapter B2 Talk 9: Receiving of the Holy Spirit, Our God made way to mold us purely prior to sending us in spiritual battle by providing us a Tongues Workshop, held last August 12, 2017, 8pm at Center 1, Al Safa Building, Najda Street conducted by Tita Lourdes. As Christians we desire to experience Christ more in our life, every moment of it we long for HIM. One way to feel His presence in our life is allowing the Holy Spirit to work within us. There are 9 Gifts of the Holy Spirit subdivided in three category. First, are the Teaching Gifts which includes Wisdom and Word of Knowledge. Second, are the Sign Gifts which are Faith, Healing and Miracles. Third, are Revelational Gifts comprised of Pophecy, Discernment of Spirit, Tongues and Interpretation of Tongues. What on earth are you here for? What on earth I am here for? I was puzzled by this question asked by one of my best friends way back 2012 that forever marked and served as a foundation of my spiritual growth even to these days. Joining in the community was a life-changing experience. I discovered my identity and the purpose God has already bestowed upon me even before I was conceived. I had come to understand by God’s grace that living in purpose is the only way to really live. That is to live life with love, humility and gratitude. It may sound impossible to put into action but yes, it is possible with a great faith to God we can outshine the good and surmount the greatest challenge of being Christian and live life with meaning. Before I was invited to join the Christian Life Program (CLP), I know that there is God and I believe in Him. From a family that doesn’t religiously go to church we don’t see it as a duty of being a Christian. So long I don’t do detrimental things I am therefore a good Christian. “ You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.” - Psalm 16:11 On 5th and 25th of May 2017, as we attended HOUSEHOLD HEADS TRAINING (Part 1 & 2), it was a great privilege to experience this kind of teachings for the upcoming CLP. On that day, while reading and understanding this bible verse of PSALM 16:11 I felt the greatness, encouraging, loving presence of God and at the same time I also get a chance to reflect. “But to you who are listening I say love your enemies and do good to those who hate you”.  - Luke 6:27 On April 20, 2017; Thursday night, we were at Al Safa building with Chapter B2 members and leaders. It was my first service in SFC teaching and I was assigned to handle registration. We experienced a memorable teaching led by Bro. Jervy and Sis Verna.  The Bible verse which I took is about loving your enemies, (Mark 12:31) says  “Love your neighbor as yourself.’  There is no commandment greater than these.” It reminds me of my experience 4 years ago with my best friend. How we forgive and love each other again, how we accept the truth about ourselves because of insecurity, jealousy and disappointment. Praying for someone is powerful because it leads to forgiveness. As we attended the CLP training last April 7, 2017 together with my brothers and sisters in christ. I’ve learned a lot of things that inspires me to continuously serve our God wholeheartedly. Christian Life Program (CLP) Training molds me and taught me to be tenacious and tough in fulfilling God’s will, and also to be prepared for the spiritual battle that I will encounter during the CLP and even in my journey in the Singles For Christ (SFC) community.  The training was started with a prayer, followed by the discussion of all the speakers who tackled about our spiritual weapons, what are our protections, what are our goals for the upcoming CLP and our zeal to succeed for this activity. Everyone was very attentive to the discussion, the topics are well presented that made my heart so excited for the service. A Reflection: After attending House Hold Orientation workshop I get a better understanding of the context “House Hold” and “House Hold Leader.” At first I thought that a House Hold is just a simple small group. It consist of 5-6 people who put up together to form a small group to pray, to chat or to simply gather together. But through the months of spending with my House Hold I get a better understanding of what is it really stands for. It’s not just about building friendship, getting along with each other, praying for each other,  having someone you can talk to, having someone to accompany you but most importantly it’s supporting each other towards knowing God .  Motivating each other to get to know God, accompany each other to walk towards God. It is not just about building up your relationship with people rather building your relationship with God with the help of others as well.  Last 9th March & 20th March we had our Household Head Orientation Talk for Chapter B2          Into this talk it has filled our mind to know who we are as a servant or what a Christian Service is and being Household head or leader is all about. We come to know that we serve not only for ourselves but for The Almighty God. It is not what you do but who or what you are as you do it.  We serve the Lord regardless of ourselves and which you are also to be focused on what is the posture of our heart when it comes to service. Coming from a family of followers of Christ, and being in the CFC community for more than a decade now, I thought I knew the basics on how it is to evangelize and to bring people closer to God. I was confident that I am part of the chosen people of God.  From the statement above, one holds true to my beliefs, and the other, well, let’s just say needs to be pondered upon.  I was wrong when I thought that I knew the basics of evangelization, because truth be told, there is still so much more to learn. And that is exactly the purpose of the Evangelization Training.  The first talk is entitled The Great Commission. Simply put, WHY DO WE NEED TO EVANGELIZE? There are different answers to that question. But really, is there an explanation as to why God has called us? We, as SFC, have been called to be the frontliners of God’s army. SFC Chapter B2 held a CLP Training last April 17, 2017. This training is a good opportunity for us (new members) to start serving our new brothers and sisters who will join the community and to continue to serve others as well. It aims to prepare everyone in the community to evangelize others brothers and sisters. It’s a privilege to us to be part of the said training for we have learned to fight in life’s battle.
