House Hold Head Training By Sis Mirasol Inventado

“ You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.”
- Psalm 16:11

On 5th and 25th of May 2017, as we attended HOUSEHOLD HEADS TRAINING (Part 1 & 2), it was a great privilege to experience this kind of teachings for the upcoming CLP. On that day, while reading and understanding this bible verse of PSALM 16:11 I felt the greatness, encouraging, loving presence of God and at the same time I also get a chance to reflect.
We tackled different talks as follows:

TALK # 1 BROTHERLY LOVE – by Tito Rod, we are all brothers and sisters in SFC community as we are called and chosen by God to take care of God’s people those entrusted to our Household and its importance, the attitude of service and attitude of humility. Let us love not only in words or speech but in reality and faith, with expression and patience.

TALK # 2 PRAYER AND INTERCESSION – by Sis Joy, if I were not mistaken every one of us has different way of praying even me I have my own ways and understanding if what is “Prayer”, through this talk it enables us to realized and understand that prayer is the way to communicate direct to the Lord, victorious against temptation, root of personal godliness, accountability and sets the posture of our heart, total surrender to the Lord that whatever we are praying for it will be granted to us just be faithful to Him. My dear brothers and sisters the most powerful weapon that save me from everything is what we called “Prayer” In short, Prayer is EVERYTHING.

TALK # 3 FAITH IN GOD AND HUMBLE LEADERSHIP – by Bro. Fed Genobili, We believe in the existence of God and trust that God is true in His promises. Sometimes, we are tested by God how faithful we are especially in facing hardships and difficulties in life as we surrender everything to Him nothing is impossible. He tested me in so many ways one of that is He made me sick and suffer for almost more than a year without knowing that this is the way of reminding me just to be stronger and to be more closer to Him. I admitted the fact that I had neglected my faith in the past few years. We should bear in mind if there is faith there is hope, God is always with us just be faithful to Him.

TALK# 4 LEAD BY EXAMPLE – by Bro. Franz Lucas, being servants and future leaders we should “walk the talk”, practice what you preach as the bible verse of John 13:15 saying that “For I have given you an example that you should do as I have done to you”. Being a good leader, a good example, must possess a quality of being mature enough with personal conduct, attitude and the value of wisdom.

TALK # 5 CORRECTION AND ENCOURAGEMENT – by Tito Monching Jimenez, Sometimes, we are afraid of being corrected just because we are hiding our faults, we cover up and argue when corrected but through this talk I had learned that correction has different ways not to offend the people and encouragement through the presence of Holy Spirit – brings us comfort and stand by us.
TALK # 6 EVALUATION – by Sis Annie Dizon, I was thinking before that evaluation is just for students and employee only. In SFC we have too, it is all about evaluation of feedback during sessions/activity and evaluation by team heads.

Before I was thinking that this is only just a simple talks but I was wrong, it was very encouraging and inspiring talks, I learned so many things and brings me a lot of realization.

“ And you should imitate me, just as I imitate CHRIST.”
- 1 Corinthians 11:1

May GOD be praised!

My CLP Experience Christian Life Program: Unbox Your Faith By Bro Joseph Fruto

“A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stamp, a god-shaped life is a flourishing tree”  -Proverbs 11:28   We are in the world where people give so much avidness to wealth, technology, trend, etc. At some point we forget to nourish our spiritual need. That is to live life with love, humility and gratitude. It may sound impossible to put into action but yes, it is possible with a great faith to God we can outshine the good and surmount the greatest challenge of being Christian and live life with meaning. Before I was invited to join the Christian Life Program (CLP), I know that there is God and I believe in Him. From a family that doesn’t religiously go to church we don’t see it as a duty of being a Christian. So long I don’t do detrimental things I am therefore a good Christian. At the age of 21 I tried my luck abroad, I worked in Saudi hoping to speed up my career and help my family. Being away was a struggle and homesickness was the enemy I fought each ...

Pray Over Workshop By Sis. Maricar Mandani

In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.-Romans 8:26-27 How do we pray and how do we pray for others effectively? Most of us would like to pray for others, but to be honest we don't know how and what to pray. We are often filled with good intentions but without enough knowledge to utter, we tend to use the same phrases over and over or we fall into patterns, or sometimes we simply are not good in expressing with words. As part of our preparation for our CLP Talk 9- Receiving the power of the Holy Spirit- the much awaited session for every CLP. We had a PRAY OVER WORKSHOP, held last August 15, 2017. The teaching was led by Tita Lourdes, here we experienced and practiced a pray over session. Learned how to ...
