God is our Fortress By: Sis. Yohree Faith Pantano

As we attended the CLP training last April 7, 2017 together with my brothers and sisters in christ. I’ve learned a lot of things that inspires me to continuously serve our God wholeheartedly. Christian Life Program (CLP) Training molds me and taught me to be tenacious and tough in fulfilling God’s will, and also to be prepared for the spiritual battle that I will encounter during the CLP and even in my journey in the Singles For Christ (SFC) community.

The training was started with a prayer, followed by the discussion of all the speakers who tackled about our spiritual weapons, what are our protections, what are our goals for the upcoming CLP and our zeal to succeed for this activity. Everyone was very attentive to the discussion, the topics are well presented that made my heart so excited for the service. We were also trained how to become a Discussion Group Leader (DGL) and on how to deal any distinctive personalities of our future participants. The training was very successful and I knew that we are now prepared and fully armoured by God.

Truly our God is having an infinite love for us. He is giving us a chance to evangelized others and share the good news. He is using us as an instrument to be a blessing to others. (Ephesians 6:12) For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

You never know how big of a threat you are to the enemy until you start doing something for God. Just keep your trust and faith to the Lord, because he is always bigger than any circumstances in our lives. (Deuteronomy 31:6) Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you, he will never leave you nor forsake you.

The upcoming CLP will be in a midst of a fierce spiritual battle. Don’t be terrified and don’t allow yourselves to be agitated and disturbed. Don’t let the enemy impede your purpose. Let’s just pray and utter the word of God. He is our fortress. God ensures that this is not going to be an uphill battle, stand firm with the Lord. I know he has given everything we needed to be victorious in this battle and to be strong in the stand against all forces of darkness. Let’s rejoice and claim our victory with a courageous heart and mind.

May God be praised!

My CLP Experience Christian Life Program: Unbox Your Faith By Bro Joseph Fruto

“A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stamp, a god-shaped life is a flourishing tree”  -Proverbs 11:28   We are in the world where people give so much avidness to wealth, technology, trend, etc. At some point we forget to nourish our spiritual need. That is to live life with love, humility and gratitude. It may sound impossible to put into action but yes, it is possible with a great faith to God we can outshine the good and surmount the greatest challenge of being Christian and live life with meaning. Before I was invited to join the Christian Life Program (CLP), I know that there is God and I believe in Him. From a family that doesn’t religiously go to church we don’t see it as a duty of being a Christian. So long I don’t do detrimental things I am therefore a good Christian. At the age of 21 I tried my luck abroad, I worked in Saudi hoping to speed up my career and help my family. Being away was a struggle and homesickness was the enemy I fought each ...

Pray Over Workshop By Sis. Maricar Mandani

In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.-Romans 8:26-27 How do we pray and how do we pray for others effectively? Most of us would like to pray for others, but to be honest we don't know how and what to pray. We are often filled with good intentions but without enough knowledge to utter, we tend to use the same phrases over and over or we fall into patterns, or sometimes we simply are not good in expressing with words. As part of our preparation for our CLP Talk 9- Receiving the power of the Holy Spirit- the much awaited session for every CLP. We had a PRAY OVER WORKSHOP, held last August 15, 2017. The teaching was led by Tita Lourdes, here we experienced and practiced a pray over session. Learned how to ...
