“Once upon a time…. and they lived happily ever after” By: Sis. Aramae Cuarto

I could have blame Disney movies for dominating my notion about fantasizing of becoming a princess ideal. Snow white, Cinderella, Belle, and other princesses who happened to have met their prince charming, and well, eventually lived happily ever after.

All too often, we seek for a happy ending without realizing what lies in between the beginning & the end of every story – it could have been the pain & joy or the ups & downs, etc. Sometimes, it’s right in the middle of the story, that love gives us the climax of a fairytale.

As girls, we admire princesses and we want to be just like one of them. But, being a princess doesn’t have to mean what you think it means.

Ladies, you are a daughter of God, the King of the Kings. You are already a God’s princess made in the very image of God Himself.

The “Princess Diaries Weekend” has imparted us the very essential meaning of being a princess in the eyes of the King, our God. It tackled mainly about (1) Being pursued & precious. (2) Love & Relationships (3) Desire & Desolation.  God designed a woman to be a mystery to be revealed; a relationship to be pursued; and a beauty to be unveiled.

As we desire what God planted in our hearts, we must allow ourselves to be pursued by God first. The Lord has never stopped pursuing us, we just have to requite the love He constantly give us.

A warrior princess deserves a knight who can protect, respect & love her, just how God ensures for His daughter. He loved us first before you sought to be loved & pursued by a man. The right Man God has for you will pursue you and fight for it. You just have to put your trust in God that He will to lead you to the man He designed for you – who will be your lover, partner & warrior. You  Seek God first, for when the time is right, for when love finally knocks on your door, you know that the love & romance you have opened up for someone is pure & divine, because God is in between.

“A woman’s heart should be so lost in God, that a man should seek Him in order to find her”

A beautiful princess has a real magnificence uniquely hand carved by God, fearfully & wonderfully made. Life has too much to offer than to be weigh down by a comparison or by the lies we have believed in ourselves that may have led us to believe in lies about God. You were created in God’s image. You are beautiful. To put yourself down by the way you are is to insult God’s handwork.  He works wonders to radiate your true beauty from within.

A princess may have a pierced heart yet can assuredly start with new heartbeats. We cannot be discouraged, because pain is part of our life. Nobody will love you as perfectly as God does, you have to give a failure of others a chance to discover your inner capability to forgive & love unconditionally. Your King will heal your heart, you just have to give him all the broken pieces to make it whole again.

It’s not always the beginning & the end that gives deeper meaning to every story. More often, it is likely the struggles & joy in between, where the call for God’s unfailing love & graces is required. In the context of a fairytale in our real life, we should know however, that happy endings depend on where you stop your story. Let God be the author of your own unique fairytale.

There could be beautiful relationships & stories in your life as numerous as the stars, but your relationship with God – you as the daughter of the King is incomparable, because it’s unbreakable.

My beautiful woman, God’s love is royalty. Be the princess that knows your crown isn’t in your head but in your heart.

May God be praised!

My CLP Experience Christian Life Program: Unbox Your Faith By Bro Joseph Fruto

“A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stamp, a god-shaped life is a flourishing tree”  -Proverbs 11:28   We are in the world where people give so much avidness to wealth, technology, trend, etc. At some point we forget to nourish our spiritual need. That is to live life with love, humility and gratitude. It may sound impossible to put into action but yes, it is possible with a great faith to God we can outshine the good and surmount the greatest challenge of being Christian and live life with meaning. Before I was invited to join the Christian Life Program (CLP), I know that there is God and I believe in Him. From a family that doesn’t religiously go to church we don’t see it as a duty of being a Christian. So long I don’t do detrimental things I am therefore a good Christian. At the age of 21 I tried my luck abroad, I worked in Saudi hoping to speed up my career and help my family. Being away was a struggle and homesickness was the enemy I fought each ...

Pray Over Workshop By Sis. Maricar Mandani

In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.-Romans 8:26-27 How do we pray and how do we pray for others effectively? Most of us would like to pray for others, but to be honest we don't know how and what to pray. We are often filled with good intentions but without enough knowledge to utter, we tend to use the same phrases over and over or we fall into patterns, or sometimes we simply are not good in expressing with words. As part of our preparation for our CLP Talk 9- Receiving the power of the Holy Spirit- the much awaited session for every CLP. We had a PRAY OVER WORKSHOP, held last August 15, 2017. The teaching was led by Tita Lourdes, here we experienced and practiced a pray over session. Learned how to ...
