Christian Life Program Training By Sis Jellaine Abanilla

"I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth." - Acts 13:47.

Christian Life Program, a big word for Singles for Christ community. For some of us, it is the same as we are always doing every year. But for me, every CLP is a new experience, a new chapter, and a new beginning. It is a great and another blessing to our community. Not just a program and a service but indeed, it was and always be a start for our souls to renew our faith and it is an amazing beginning to bring our brothers and sisters to let God work to their lives. I, myself thank God for having this wonderful and amazing activity. Of course, since this is one of the important programs for SFC, hindi pwede na hindi tayo equip. God provides us this kind of training. He knows what we need and He finds ways to provide it. Before our battle begin. It was so refreshing that every aspect of the CLP tackled. God gave us His angles and speakers He equipped which He provided such an amazing wisdom to share the things we need to know and we need to do during the CLP.

We are all called to be a servant. And here I am one of them. I attended this training because I wanted to refresh my knowledge in CLP. This is my 2nd time to be part of the service team.

Here we go, the talks and sharing ended well. The experiences of everyone helped us to be equipped. Here we go, training proper and groupings. The flow was like this, everyone will have their groups and one will play the role of being a DGL (discussion group leader). I went to the washroom and after I came back, they said I will be one to play the role of a DGL. My heart was like a bomb that anytime will explode. I know I don't have an idea of what I will do even it was already tackled in the talks earlier. Iba pa din kasi ung live and ung nasa actual situation na. I didn't imagine myself to be DGL kasi for me it is a big responsibility. But truly God is so great, that he provided us with what we need to do. I felt the hug and flow of the Holy Spirit that time. I felt secured. No matter what you are doing, if He called you by your name, you cannot say no to Him. The training was so nice that during the group discussions we made to help each other. I remembered, napag-usapan ng group ko na gumanap ng different attitude na pwede namin maencounter sa CLP. And they made it well. We all realized and learned how to handle and how to welcome our new brothers and sisters. It was a great help also that after the groupings, we had the sharing of thoughts and suggestion to make the CLP successful. That day was filled with the Holy Spirit that after the activity, we all learned and that training really helped a lot to strengthen our FAITH and RELATIONSHIP with God.

When God called you by YOUR NAME to be the LIGHT for other you cannot say NO. He will always FIND WAYS to let His will be done in our lives. He is always sending His angels and he uses instruments on how we can glorify and how we can serve Him. He will equip us to fulfill His ministry.

And with that, May God be praised

My CLP Experience Christian Life Program: Unbox Your Faith By Bro Joseph Fruto

“A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stamp, a god-shaped life is a flourishing tree”  -Proverbs 11:28   We are in the world where people give so much avidness to wealth, technology, trend, etc. At some point we forget to nourish our spiritual need. That is to live life with love, humility and gratitude. It may sound impossible to put into action but yes, it is possible with a great faith to God we can outshine the good and surmount the greatest challenge of being Christian and live life with meaning. Before I was invited to join the Christian Life Program (CLP), I know that there is God and I believe in Him. From a family that doesn’t religiously go to church we don’t see it as a duty of being a Christian. So long I don’t do detrimental things I am therefore a good Christian. At the age of 21 I tried my luck abroad, I worked in Saudi hoping to speed up my career and help my family. Being away was a struggle and homesickness was the enemy I fought each ...

Christian Character Weekend By Sis Vianca Peregrina

After all the 6 talks in CCW, all I can say is that, it's the most remarkable teaching for me because I was able to immediately apply it in my life. This teaching has welcomed us with the reminder that our emotions should always be guided by the Holy Spirit because it can impact our character. The talk about Character of Humility has made me realize that acknowledging others and neglecting yourself is not how humility works, it is false humility and refusing to see the art God created within us. Instead, Humility is acknowledging that God has created ALL of us individually unique and because our God is fair and our perfect creator, He wrote each one of us equally beautiful plans ahead of us. If we keep this perspective and truth, we start appreciating ourselves, and being happy with ourselves gives us sufficient love for our neighbors. Appreciating ourselves and our neighbors is appreciating God's work. The character of Courage simply taught me that fear is normal, ...
