SFC Infosystem: Our SFC Journey Online By: Sis. Desiree Torres

Information as defined is a fact provided or learned about something or someone. Whereas, system is a set of principles or procedures according to which something is done; an organized scheme or method. Let's combine these and it will lead us to the so called INFOSYTEM, a software that helps you organize and analyze data that helps us answer questions relevant to mission of an organization. As I have read those meanings in Mr. Webster I come to realize that we, the SFC, should be proud enough that we have this on our community, our very own SFC INFO SYSTEM and what is more blissful to know is that we have it online. We are even more fortunate that a training was conducted to give as more details heeding on to this by one of our mission volunteer, Sis Kate Sabug, last February 13, 2017.

Now, not only chapter heads/leaders can access the said info system but each of us is given the opportunity to access and view information from it. However, specific details such as tithes, attendance for chapter activities, prayer assemblies and pastoral formations were beyond our limit such access were given to our chapter heads. Nonetheless, all SFC members has the chance to update their profile which includes personal information such as address, contact numbers, field of work, etc. you can even choose your most promising picture as your profile photo and can even add up your most unique nickname. Furthermore, household heads/leaders should regularly update and enter all their household meetings, fellowships and other household activities they had. In addition this SFC Info System could also be an additive mean to know more about our community and its members.  By simply signing in to the said SFC Info System we can monitor not only our chapter's progress but our own progress as well. As our chapter leader, Sis Verna (Chapter B2) , once said “ Ang sarap lang sa feeling kapag nag-oopen ka ng account mo tapos nakikita mo lahat iyong mga SFC activities na napuntahan mo, it is like this system is showing me my own SFC JOURNEY.” Indeed, it is so true because in the info system you can view all the households, chapter activities, prayer assemblies and even the teachings you attended. Having this in our community is a privilege that we should be grateful but along with it is also responsibility in a sense that we should always find time to update it and enter inputs that really happened.

So brothers and sisters, what are you waiting for go and check your own SFC Info System account now and see by yourself your own SFC Journey.

Just go to this link http://www.sfcinfosystem.com/memberportal, use your SFC RFID number and registered email to get your temporary password.

As one American author said:

“A good system shortens the road to the goal.
- Orison Swett Marden.”

So may this SFC Info System comes with us, as we go on to our SFC JOURNEY.

May God Be Praised!

My CLP Experience Christian Life Program: Unbox Your Faith By Bro Joseph Fruto

“A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stamp, a god-shaped life is a flourishing tree”  -Proverbs 11:28   We are in the world where people give so much avidness to wealth, technology, trend, etc. At some point we forget to nourish our spiritual need. That is to live life with love, humility and gratitude. It may sound impossible to put into action but yes, it is possible with a great faith to God we can outshine the good and surmount the greatest challenge of being Christian and live life with meaning. Before I was invited to join the Christian Life Program (CLP), I know that there is God and I believe in Him. From a family that doesn’t religiously go to church we don’t see it as a duty of being a Christian. So long I don’t do detrimental things I am therefore a good Christian. At the age of 21 I tried my luck abroad, I worked in Saudi hoping to speed up my career and help my family. Being away was a struggle and homesickness was the enemy I fought each ...

Christian Character Weekend By Sis Vianca Peregrina

After all the 6 talks in CCW, all I can say is that, it's the most remarkable teaching for me because I was able to immediately apply it in my life. This teaching has welcomed us with the reminder that our emotions should always be guided by the Holy Spirit because it can impact our character. The talk about Character of Humility has made me realize that acknowledging others and neglecting yourself is not how humility works, it is false humility and refusing to see the art God created within us. Instead, Humility is acknowledging that God has created ALL of us individually unique and because our God is fair and our perfect creator, He wrote each one of us equally beautiful plans ahead of us. If we keep this perspective and truth, we start appreciating ourselves, and being happy with ourselves gives us sufficient love for our neighbors. Appreciating ourselves and our neighbors is appreciating God's work. The character of Courage simply taught me that fear is normal, ...
