Morning Worship and Team Building - By: Sis. Anna Ortega

January 6, 2017  - I approached the Friday morning worship hour to honor Him with a grateful heart and to give thanks to our Almighty God. It was very cold in the park and I've started to ask myself, 'what does the Holy Spirit feel like?'

During my CLP days, worshiping together with my brothers and sisters was not something that began easily for me. I felt a little bit awkward in the beginning especially in singing because I don't know the worship song and the process.  After my graduation, I've started to create my playlist of worship songs to listen to word of God, not only to get used to it but to live with it.  Yes, it has now become part of my daily routine as I go to work, during working hours and even after work (no more Beyoncé, Adele and to my favorite secret love song).

After the morning prayer and worship, it's an unbelievable feeling. The Spirit is, truly and literally, God's within us. You would feel the God's warm embrace, embracing His promises, and you just can't stop the tears from falling down.

God is continuing to take me from glory to glory; to experience the fellowship. It brings a sense of closeness, love and peace to my brothers and sisters.

This is my second family. This is my second home. ☺

Each of us, no matter how strong we seem now, will come to a place where we will be needy. I came to the point where I needed the community into which I invested so much of emotions, energy and wisdom to serve our Lord.  This morning worship and fellowship with my family in Chapter A2 really touched my heart, it was deep, heart-felt expression of love to my brothers and sisters, and appreciation for all that God has done for us through Jesus Christ.  Our hearts are simply overflowing with praise, and we are so thrilled and deeply honored to be able to come into the presence of the Lord and offer our worship.

With this, may God be praised!

My CLP Experience Christian Life Program: Unbox Your Faith By Bro Joseph Fruto

“A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stamp, a god-shaped life is a flourishing tree”  -Proverbs 11:28   We are in the world where people give so much avidness to wealth, technology, trend, etc. At some point we forget to nourish our spiritual need. That is to live life with love, humility and gratitude. It may sound impossible to put into action but yes, it is possible with a great faith to God we can outshine the good and surmount the greatest challenge of being Christian and live life with meaning. Before I was invited to join the Christian Life Program (CLP), I know that there is God and I believe in Him. From a family that doesn’t religiously go to church we don’t see it as a duty of being a Christian. So long I don’t do detrimental things I am therefore a good Christian. At the age of 21 I tried my luck abroad, I worked in Saudi hoping to speed up my career and help my family. Being away was a struggle and homesickness was the enemy I fought each ...

Christian Character Weekend By Sis Vianca Peregrina

After all the 6 talks in CCW, all I can say is that, it's the most remarkable teaching for me because I was able to immediately apply it in my life. This teaching has welcomed us with the reminder that our emotions should always be guided by the Holy Spirit because it can impact our character. The talk about Character of Humility has made me realize that acknowledging others and neglecting yourself is not how humility works, it is false humility and refusing to see the art God created within us. Instead, Humility is acknowledging that God has created ALL of us individually unique and because our God is fair and our perfect creator, He wrote each one of us equally beautiful plans ahead of us. If we keep this perspective and truth, we start appreciating ourselves, and being happy with ourselves gives us sufficient love for our neighbors. Appreciating ourselves and our neighbors is appreciating God's work. The character of Courage simply taught me that fear is normal, ...
