A laud morning for Chapter B2 - By: Sis Precious Anne Palaganas

Being a Singles for Christ member and a servant leader there are so many things that I look forward to when it comes to chapter activities. One of them is the morning worship with team building activities as it is a call for us to praise Him as it is written in Psalms 95:6  “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let is kneel before the Lord, our Maker”. It was so nice to wake up early in the morning and worship the Lord under the rays of sun. The feeling of you having another opportunity to praise and worship our God with your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Last January 13 was the first morning worship of our Chapter, B2 for this year. It was the first activity since the holidays so I believe that everyone was so excited to participate. After days of not seeing your brethren in the community, you look forward to mingle with them and have fun with them. It was nice to see your sister who you have shared your secrets with and your reliable brother who have helped you a lot before, together united as one to honor and glorify "The One".

There were so many activities that made this event meaningful and memorable for everyone. To start the day right, we began with our prayer and songs to praise our God. It was very moving to hear your brothers and sisters sing their hearts out to adore His name.

Since I became a member of this community, I have realized how important team building activities were. It was indeed best way to communicate with others that you were not be able to mingle with before. Personally, I got the chance to talk with more people outside from my own unit or household. The games were also very challenging and at the same time they convey important messages.

One of the games was like this:  a representative will find the answer blindfolded using only the voice of his/ her teammates as a guide. As the objective of the game was followed, this taught us that in this life sometimes there will be situations or people who will dictate which path you should take but we often forget that God is with us. We just have to listen to Him and let him lead our way.

Another was a game to test the unity and camaraderie of everyone. A thread should be made using the balloons as connectors, it was very important that the balloons will not fall. This game has shown us how important it is to walk in this journey with our brethren who can help us, build us up and also guide us in knowing and following our Lord Jesus. More games followed and more realizations were also revealed.

God has really demonstrated in every little thing His undying love for us. From the birds singing in the trees to the gushing of the wind on our face and all the beautiful, sometimes bad things that our eyes can see. Indeed, it was a very joyous and blessed morning worship for our #B2gether family. We are really in this together as one chapter and as one family.

May God Be Praised!

My CLP Experience Christian Life Program: Unbox Your Faith By Bro Joseph Fruto

“A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stamp, a god-shaped life is a flourishing tree”  -Proverbs 11:28   We are in the world where people give so much avidness to wealth, technology, trend, etc. At some point we forget to nourish our spiritual need. That is to live life with love, humility and gratitude. It may sound impossible to put into action but yes, it is possible with a great faith to God we can outshine the good and surmount the greatest challenge of being Christian and live life with meaning. Before I was invited to join the Christian Life Program (CLP), I know that there is God and I believe in Him. From a family that doesn’t religiously go to church we don’t see it as a duty of being a Christian. So long I don’t do detrimental things I am therefore a good Christian. At the age of 21 I tried my luck abroad, I worked in Saudi hoping to speed up my career and help my family. Being away was a struggle and homesickness was the enemy I fought each ...

Christian Character Weekend By Sis Vianca Peregrina

After all the 6 talks in CCW, all I can say is that, it's the most remarkable teaching for me because I was able to immediately apply it in my life. This teaching has welcomed us with the reminder that our emotions should always be guided by the Holy Spirit because it can impact our character. The talk about Character of Humility has made me realize that acknowledging others and neglecting yourself is not how humility works, it is false humility and refusing to see the art God created within us. Instead, Humility is acknowledging that God has created ALL of us individually unique and because our God is fair and our perfect creator, He wrote each one of us equally beautiful plans ahead of us. If we keep this perspective and truth, we start appreciating ourselves, and being happy with ourselves gives us sufficient love for our neighbors. Appreciating ourselves and our neighbors is appreciating God's work. The character of Courage simply taught me that fear is normal, ...
