A Call to Love By Sis Au Ventilacion

As I have my yes again for another mission, Our Lord Almighty didn’t allow us unequipped, He sent His unending graces and His Holy Spirit for us to accomplish the mission entrusted to us.

His call is the sweetest voice that we could ever hear, a voice full of love and mercy. Saying YES to HIM is very a courageous thing to do and a called from Him is also a called to LOVE… to love His people and serve them with a good heart. During our mission, a lot of messages and fulfillment came into my heart. My passion to serve and love has grown and rooted deeply even more. The JOY that it brought into our hearts can’t be compared from any other worldly things. I know I’m not worthy but He made me feel worthy because of this. The smiles and laughter of His people as we served them during our mission double the smile in our hearts and their genuine kindness inspired us to be more kind as well.

Love is the main reason why we said yes and why will always keep saying YES.

Present are the different members of the CFC community from Couples for Christ, Singles for Christ and Youth for Christ. Many participants who were present carried an eager heart to serve the next generation servants and followers of Jesus Christ, which is the Kids for Christ. After all the 6 talks in CCW, all I can say is that, it's the most remarkable teaching for me because I was able to immediately apply it in my life. This teaching has welcomed us with the reminder that our emotions should always be guided by the Holy Spirit because it can impact our character. The talk about Character of Humility has made me realize that acknowledging others and neglecting yourself is not how humility works, it is false humility and refusing to see the art God created within us. Instead, Humility is acknowledging that God has created ALL of us individually unique and because our God is fair and our perfect creator, He wrote each one of us equally beautiful plans ahead of us. If we keep this perspective and truth, we start appreciating ourselves, and being happy with ourselves gives us sufficient love for our neighbors.
