A Journey of Purpose By Sis Kim Allagones

What on earth are you here for? What on earth I am here for? I was puzzled by this question asked by one of my best friends way back 2012 that forever marked and served as a foundation of my spiritual growth even to these days. Joining in the community was a life-changing experience. I discovered my identity and the purpose God has already bestowed upon me even before I was conceived. I had come to understand by God’s grace that living in purpose is the only way to really live. Since then, knowing my purpose written by the Author of my life gave me so much hope and joy in my heart. June 2, 2017 when the Lord called me to be a DGL (Discussion Group Leader) for Batch 2017 Christian Life Program of SFC Chapter A2. Prior to that, when my Household Leader Sis. Ever informed me that I was discerned being a DGL, I was in doubt and ready to give her my “no” for I have a lot of worries and feeling of unworthiness, and maybe I won’t be able to fulfil the responsibility.  Again, struc

My Africa Mission By Sis Abhie Catipon

It was this year that I desire to go again in a Mission, and this time I want to go to AFRICA…In which country, I don’t know yet. I asked God to reveal to me the country which He wants me to go, and low and behold God allowed me to go to UGANDA. (which was my First choice and Last destination) Praise God for approved leave, for the giving me the finances that I need. I was able to get everything done before our flight knowing that I’m the last one to join the Batch 2 missionaries, with whom I don’t even know them yet. I felt very excited at the same time anxious about what will happen to me there, the feeling that I was afraid of going out of my comfort zone. We had Fast Track CLP which runs for 1 day like (10am to 5PM), we conducted COW and Household Meetings and Prayer Assembly, even we gather the members every night to have fellowship with them and to know them better.  We experienced how Africans specifically the Ugandans live out their faith and how they

Discovering Your Purpose and Passion By Sis Micah Salvador

“You can make many plans but the lord's purpose will prevail." -Proverbs 19:21 Chapter A2’s teaching "Discovering Your Purpose and Passion” was held last July 21, 2017.  This teaching is indeed a reminder to me because the past few days before that day was really tough and I was struggling. Rejection, frustration, the feeling of being unworthy and purposeless. I was really frustrated not to get what I really want.  During the teaching, something I realized is that whatever plans we have if we don't allow God to be with us it will be impossible and meaningless.   There are core values to achieve a goal in life. * If we want to be successful in our career, we need not to compromise integrity, do not commit any sinful acts to achieve success but always strive for excellence. *Serve God by serving our families, we need to reject any acts of violence that endanger life, we reject abortion, pre-marital/extra marital sex, adultery. We are calle

My CLP Experience Christian Life Program: Unbox Your Faith By Bro Joseph Fruto

“A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stamp, a god-shaped life is a flourishing tree”  -Proverbs 11:28   We are in the world where people give so much avidness to wealth, technology, trend, etc. At some point we forget to nourish our spiritual need. That is to live life with love, humility and gratitude. It may sound impossible to put into action but yes, it is possible with a great faith to God we can outshine the good and surmount the greatest challenge of being Christian and live life with meaning. Before I was invited to join the Christian Life Program (CLP), I know that there is God and I believe in Him. From a family that doesn’t religiously go to church we don’t see it as a duty of being a Christian. So long I don’t do detrimental things I am therefore a good Christian. At the age of 21 I tried my luck abroad, I worked in Saudi hoping to speed up my career and help my family. Being away was a struggle and homesickness was the enemy I fought each and every

When salary is delayed God takes over By Bro Lebert Omac

Just recently, I came from a 40-day vacation from work. It was my first ever vacation in the Philippines more than 2 years since I left there.  Indeed, every moment at home was precious and most of my times were spent only with my family. That’s my decision before I even went home because I realized that my time at work is way more than my time with my family. After all, their presence is more important than my work itself.  I think I just made the right decision then. I’m just so grateful to God for allowing us to spend time together and create memories while there’s still chance. However, there are always two sides of a coin. Behind our happy moments are daily struggles and even monthly should I say. I think you already have an idea of what it is. To be honest with you, for the past 1 year prior to my vacation and even up to now, I am struggling financially. Not that much but it’s really a concern for me. I’m not buried in debt though.  Our monthly salary is del

Lamb of God By Sis Kristine Languisan

*Original drawing by Sis. Just the 3 of Us By Bro James Zerda & Sis Reina Jane Tabjan

Intimacy, in the dictionary is defined as a state of being intimate or closeness, affection, etc. You will think that intimacy is simply an affection. But if you think of it deeply, for us, intimacy is an intimate relationship not only with the person you love but also with God being the center of it. The Intimacy Weekend that was held at St. Paul Church, Mussafah, on 2nd June 2017 has five sessions that talks about (I) the quest for finding true love at the right place; (II) looking for love at the wrong place; (III) the hope and redemption; (IV) dating with a purpose and purity; and lastly (V) destined for intimacy, called to be a gift. The first three sessions explains how to seek, wait, discern and pray to find your true love, and the last two sessions explains how to know if he/she is the right person and how to keep your relationship strong and God centered. We realized that the Intimacy Weekend almost pertains to our love story.  Our relationship started with finding a rea

Power of Your Love By Bro. JonJon Javier De Guzman & Sis Jha Salvamante

Many are called but few are chosen to have this one of a kind teaching. I am privileged to be one of the participant for the “Intimacy weekend”.  Last June 2, 2017, member of Chapter B One and B Two-Gether was combined to have this teaching that was held at St Paul Church in Mussafah. It has been a great pleasure because God uses His instruments to be the messenger of His undying messages with the help of our Tito’s and Tita’s from “Couple for Christ”. In this teaching they tackled the behavior, habit and attitude of being a single person. Everyone learned and reminded of the underlying TRUTH about LOVE, SEXUALITY & MARRIAGE and not only that it’s a preparation of every single man and woman into married life and for those who is discerning their vocation in life.  “Love is blind?” Whether we like it or not nowadays a lot of people they don’t know the meaning of True Love. That there are different levels of understanding about LOVE. Some made it too shallow yet
