Persistent Listening

It can be a challenge to listen to the Lord's voice in the midst of all the distraction and noise in our life but it is in persistent prayer and  persistent listening that we are lead in the right direction - learning to recognize God's bountiful blessings in all circumstance. Sister Jexie Ann Aggabao shares how the Lord answered and provided her with bountiful blessings and that we should always give back for His glory.   "Yung mga blessings na binibigay ni Lord is not only financially; it comes in all forms, in all ways." "Maybe ang pag-reach ko ng target recently, is one way for Him to wake me up and to go and proclaim His goodness" "Let's all joyfully give back to Him as He is the source of all that we have now." " No matter how much you give, small or big amount, as long as you pray for it and if it is from the heart, God will surely bless you abundantly in many ways. You just have to patiently and joyfully

The Green Trailblazer - SFC Abu Dhabi 2 Yellow Green Singolympics Mascot

As the Lord has charged us to rekindle the fire and fulfill the ministry, Abu Dhabi 2 Yellow Green Mascot is answering this call as the new generation of Green Trailblazers. The definition of a trailblazer is a person who blazes a trail for others to follow through unsettled country or wilderness. Green Trailblazer’s gown is made up of old newspaper mosaic with a base of old cloth, extra duct tapes & copper wires from the last years Singolympics. The outer appearance may be fragile & old, Green Trailblazer’s innermost is blazing with the spirit of the Lord. This reminds us that to rekindle the fire in others and fulfill our ministry, we, CFC Singles for Christ, have been made to be a flame of fire to carry God’s word to all nations. The headdress is also made up of old newspaper mosaic with a base of old cartons. As trailblazers we must rise up, lead and help others find their way to Christ. We must be ready to be bearers of God’s anointing into the ends of the wo

Prayer Assembly - Fulfill Your Ministry By Sis Angelia L. Mandrique

"It's been crazy 2 months and I was feeling like everyday is a not-so-perfect day. I struggled a lot, especially at work with schedules and that everything doesn’t seem to fall into the right place.  I felt bombarded with bunches of stressors and I was so skeptic, so exhausted of doing these repetitive routines each day. I was lost and can't find ways to get back to my senses. I needed a break, redemption instead. And then, the Lord says, "My presence will go with you and I will give you rest." (Exodus 33:14). Truly, God is always working in me. He brought me to the Singolympics (an answered prayer indeed). Honestly, I didn't know how will I participate, I don't have the talent and I am not into sports. But still, at least I had the time. Time to enjoy the moment, time to flee from stress and release the tension, time to rekindle with friends, time to discover more of myself and a quality time to spend more for the Lord. I enjoyed a lot, taking part

Blazing Hearts By Sis Jonadel Jessie Peneyra

Despite coming from our respective workplaces, everyone was buzzing with excitement even before the music ministry went forward to pump up the energy. The hype from this year’s Singolympics still hasn’t worn off. Our previous chapter head, Bro. JM Comia, greeted us warmly as usual. He explained why our prayer assembly was about our community’s 2018 theme, “Rekindle the gift… Fulfill your ministry!” No matter how spiritually mature we are, we should refocus. And since we were all busy with the preparation for the Singoplympics, it is possible that we have neglected our personal prayer times. Bro. JM has mentioned four important things that calls for the attention to just stop for a moment and refocus: routine activities, being burned out, absence of a support system, and the secular world. Should we find ourselves stuck in a monotonous and repetitive schedule, we should not let this dishearten us. We should remember to be convicted to our experience instead and inspire oth

Christian Character Weekend By Sis Vianca Peregrina

After all the 6 talks in CCW, all I can say is that, it's the most remarkable teaching for me because I was able to immediately apply it in my life. This teaching has welcomed us with the reminder that our emotions should always be guided by the Holy Spirit because it can impact our character. The talk about Character of Humility has made me realize that acknowledging others and neglecting yourself is not how humility works, it is false humility and refusing to see the art God created within us. Instead, Humility is acknowledging that God has created ALL of us individually unique and because our God is fair and our perfect creator, He wrote each one of us equally beautiful plans ahead of us. If we keep this perspective and truth, we start appreciating ourselves, and being happy with ourselves gives us sufficient love for our neighbors. Appreciating ourselves and our neighbors is appreciating God's work. The character of Courage simply taught me that fear is normal,

God's Love Is Relentless - A Pre-ICON Experience By Sis Nica Pascua SFC Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE

Attending the SFC PRE-ICON 2018 is the best experienced in my life since this is another milestone in the history of SFC where we celebrated the 25 years of God’s faithfulness and generosity. This is my first time to attend the SFC PRE-ICON and truly Gods let me feel more of His love on me. Honestly, at first, the only thing that I want to attend is SFC ICON since I don’t have enough budget. But on the day of my birthday, our Chapter Head, Bro. Ben Corbo Bañola suggested to me to attend also the SFC PRE-ICON and he shared to me how good it is to meet other SFC all over the world and do activities with other SFC brothers and sisters. So, I think about it, and then after thinking and with an open heart for whatever the Lord will speak to me, I registered on SFC PRE-ICON. God’s really want me to feel His love also in SFC PRE-ICON not only in SFC ICON because He help me to find a way to have a budget for it. As the SFC PRE-ICON is near I have experienced countless struggles, deal

God’s Relentless Love! By Bro Aldin Francis Canobas SFC Calgary Alberta Canada

Attending the recent 25th Anniversary of Singles for Christ and participating in the Pre-ICON activities and the International Conference in Manila, I have asked the Lord in prayers to speak to me and give me the grace to be more sensitive and attentive to his message. It was the message of the Cross – embracing the Cross. I was amazed on how the Lord truly reaffirms this call that He has given me. I was reminded of a reflection I wrote almost a year ago when the Lord spoke to me about embracing the Cross after having visited one of my lower household’s teaching. They had the household topic of "When Helplessness Means Blessedness." Here is the reflection: It was a moment of reaffirmation and reassurance for all of us. We were reminded again of the reality and significance of the cross in our lives especially in our Christian faith. There is the reality that each of us has a cross to carry. It could be temporary or will last a lifetime until we reach our u

If God is in my Life, I will always be Loved By Sis Vianca Peregrina

This LOVE teaching is so much of an eye opener for me. We were taught about how to be a fair lady in order to become a woman of God and it made me realize a lot of things. Before the teaching, I always thought that being a Godly woman only means being prayerful, spiritually healthy and being decent both in words and in actions... but it is way more than that. In order to fully become a woman of God, we should first see ourselves the way God sees us, His Masterpiece. Knowing and believing that we are God's masterpiece and we are created with an important reason will help us understand how we should treat ourselves and to see ourselves as an expensive creation of God. If a vase was bought at a cheap price, if it got smashed or lost, the buyer will not be regretful thinking that it was only a cheap one, HOWEVER, if a vase was bought at a high price, the buyer will always be careful about that vase because it costs a lot and will not be able to get another one easily. This can al
